For Kids/Teens

If you are a family seeking care for your child or teenager, here is what you can expect for your visit:

First Contact

Dr. Wang will respond to your initial call or email as soon as possible (typically within one business day). At that time you will have the opportunity to speak with Dr. Wang and arrange your first appointment. Following this call, she will send you a confirmation email of the appointment time and place, along with directions and a file of administrative and clinical paperwork for you to complete before your first appointment.

First Appointments

Initial evaluations (also called the intake process) take place for two (60 minute) sessions (at times they are packaged into one longer 90 minute session). During these visits, a detailed and thorough history will be taken. By the end of the evaluation phase, you and Dr. Wang will discuss next steps. Treatment will likely involve therapy, medications, or some combination of both.

Continuing Appointments

Followup appointments for established patients will vary in length. Typically, follow-up for medication management will be 30 minutes long and individual therapy sessions will be 45 minutes long.
